This is a good example of a monster retouch. The art director loved the dramatic lighting on this model, but there were a number of problems.
First I had to clean up her complexion. Then I had to enhance the color because the shot was washed out.
The most important thing was placing the glasses on her.  I did a photo shoot with glasses on an assistants face,
matching the light direction and the angle of the head on the original shot.
Then I had to scan the film and place the glasses on the original scan of the model.
The last thing to do was to match the color of the light and cast a shadow on the models face.
